Marlene’s Bridal Session | Umlauf Sculpture Garden

I had never been to the Umlauf Sculpture Garden before, but driven by many times on my way to Barton Springs. But when my new client Marlene mentioned she was going to be married there, I jumped at the chance to do a Bridal Photography session there.

The grounds are beautifully done, with much of the landscape left untouched and just a pathway winding through the facility. The path is broken up by sculptures the Umlauf Trust has collected, ornamental plants, and a pond.

The image here was done almost as our session was done. Marlene was about to go change, and I saw the light hitting her next to the bridge. I asked her to turn her head down, and I clicked the shutter.
