As many of you know, I was a volunteer in Thailand after the Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004, and was there for a year helping build houses amongst other things.
And when I heard about the earthquake off Samoa and the impending tsunami that was likely coming, I could only think of the destruction I saw while in Thailand and knew what was in store for the Samoans.
In light of the damage that has happened to Samoa and American Samoa, I have decided to offer a $4 discount on all T-Shirts and apparel at my CafePress store through November 1st.
And what’s more, 100% of the profit will go to the Red Cross in Samoa in an effort to rebuild.
The prices are already adjusted, so please feel free to go and look around here: http://cafepress.com/williambay
There you will see the newest photo in the collection, pictured here, This was taken in White Sands National Monument, in New Mexico last winter. It is of a Lone Yucca plant in the dunes of White Sands with the Sacramento Mountains forming a dark sliver of a line to the East.
I hope you enjoy the shirts, and enjoy the contribution you make to helping rebuild a community half-way around the world.
