Near Capitol Reef National Park, Utah
On my trip through the Southwest back in 2002, I drove through the immensely gorgeous Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. the diversity of terrain was incredible. As I left the park on my way to Caineville, I was mesmerized by the low lying sedimentary cliff formations. You could look back into history by looking at the different strata the rock presented.
I must have pulled my little Volvo station wagon over 15 times to photograph. This one stands out for me the most, the land textured and gnarly, and the clouds above attempting a similar thing.
