Gypsum, Colorado

I had just driven West from Denver in my old grey Volvo station wagon, it was snowing all they way through Vail, as I came through Gypsum, I spotted this marshy swamp on the side of the road. The sun was attempting to poke through the heavy cloud cover. It had stopped snowing at least, but I felt the dark and moody quality of the marsh would be enhanced by tilting the lens on my view camera and playing with the focus.
I pulled off and braved the cold for this very cool shot.
Fine Art Prints
Fine art prints are printed on the highest quality Hahnemühle papers and each print is inspected by me for quality.
Canvas Prints
Canvas prints are available for certain series of photos. They are durable, do not need to be framed and look great over couches. Each canvas is signed by me, on the front, lower right.
I use a two inch stand-off edge, and the image wraps around to carry the image straight to the wall.
Framing Info
I have a relationship with local framer Mickey Maynard of Crack in the Wall, here in San Diego. Framing runs in his family. His work is unparalleled, and each frame is exquisitely cut and joined.
If you select to have your piece framed, you will receive a beautiful black wood frame, 4-inch white museum mat, and acrylic glazing (acrylic does not break).
Custom options are available. Please ask if you are interested in custom framing.
Shipping Info
My priority is that when you order something from me, you are able to hang it directly on your wall, and it looks perfect without blemishes or dings. So I take great care in shipping you your prints.
If you order a loose print, it will be shipped under plastic in a sturdy cardboard tube.
If you order a canvas or framed photograph, it will be shipped in a reinforced cardboard box, with padding to protect the edges and front of frame and photo.
